Windows on Earth have been used on board of the International Space Station
during Richard Garriotts flight Oct 12-23, 2008 to identify targets of photograph.
Targets selected by scientists, educators, students and Richard's father,
Owen Garriott, who flew 35 years ago on Skylab.

The GeoPlayer Mars demo allows you to explore Mars from outer space to near the Martian surface or fly through valleys and over craters on desktop PCs and laptop computers. It includes global imagery, terrain, and feature names. This is a lower resolution version of GeoFusions Mars exhibit at the National Geographic Museum at Explorers Hall in Washington, D.C. This program was created with the GeoMatrix® Toolkit by GeoFusion, Inc. and works with most PC graphics hardware that supports OpenGL and texture mapping.

Redlands, California--ESRI announced today plans to integrate GeoFusion, Inc.'s GeoMatrix® Toolkit technology into the ArcGIS family of geographic information system (GIS) software. GeoFusion's technology provides high-performance, high-quality, three-dimensional visualization of virtually unlimited amounts of imagery, terrain, vector, and annotation data from outer space to street level. Product integration will allow existing ArcGIS geodatabases to be mapped onto a Digital Planet and explored from a global perspective.
